Apparently he did more than just kill Knox; he also wounded several of Knox’s friends in the process. He didn’t actually mean to kill Knox, though. He just didn’t care if he did or not. He deserves what he got, and then some.

WB just released another trailer for the Half-Blood Prince movie. It has some new footage that’s starting to get me really pumped up for the movie. Too bad it doesn’t come out till July (when it was supposed to come out in November…). I’m gonna see if I can upload it on here…

I found out that I’ll be in a group project for an English class, and me and my friend are going to be doing our part on Harry Potter! I haven’t done anything Harry Potter for a school project in three years! Man, I’m excited!

Release date is still July

Last year we found out that the release date for the Half-Blood Prince movie was pushed from winter last year to summer this year. They claim that tickets will sell more in summer than they would in winter. That’s a bunch of BS, really; us crazy fans would see it at least five times no matter when it came out. Their other excuse of it being pushed back because of the writer’s strike last year actually does make sense, though. But still, I’m sick of waiting now, even though I already know they’re cutting most of one of my favorite subplots. The fact that they’re acknowledging it at all is surprising in itself, but I do wish they’d include the whole thing. I LIKE Remus and Tonks!

Well , first of all, I can’t even believe they cast someone to play Marcus Belby. He is only mentioned in one chapter, and I thought they were trying to condense the book as much as possible. Then I found out that the actor, Rob Knox, was killed sometime last May. This shows how much I’ve been keeping up lately. They finally caught his killer, who was convicted of murder and will be sentenced tomorrow. I jsut don’t know what to think now…to think that a Harry Potter actor was actually murdered is horrible…

New Info on Theme Park

A few years back, there was an announcement about a Harry Potter theme park opening up in Orlando, Florida, sometime next year. The theme park would have it’s own Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmede Village. There is now new information concerning Hogsmede; it now has a Dervish and Banges shop where you can purchase new Harry Potter merchandise. The picture accompanying the post included the jack-in-the-box head from the third movie, and Hermione’s dress from the fourth movie. I really want to go there when it opens!
